So glad I was able to pick up this tacops. What can you say it’s a SIG. It’s a little big in my hand, but I shoot it good.

I finally brought it home, Bud's did a great job getting it here in three days. One thing I didn't check at my dealer was the decocking mechanism... it doesn't work! Hopefully I will have a pleasant experience talking to Sig. Other than that the gun is nice. I do wish an eleven hundred dollar gun would be inspected for such problems before leaving the factory, and I'll learn to check before taking possession. Five stars for Bud's, one star for Sig. Since I can't write another review after dealing with Sig, lets just hope all goes well.

I love this gun!!!!!!!! I recently ran a tactical steel range with it and only had one miss ( nailed the swing target center mass ) . Recoil is much better than my USP and FNP so I ordered a 357 Sig Barrel for it to turn it up a little. This was 1 half of my first purchase with Bud's and won't be my last (sorry LGS).

This is the finest .40 S&W pistol that Sig has ever produced. With the magwell grips, TFO front sight, rear night sights and four 15-round mags, this one is a real "keeper"

Awesome gun. Very accurate. Looks and performs great right out of the box. Buds was great, ordered and received gun in less than 5 days. I would recommend this gun and Buds, I will be using them again.

4 stars because it took a month to get after ordering but I was happy to see a sig sauer case when I opened the shipping box. I don't know why everyonbe loves the plastic sig box so much but we do. It's expected.

First time I ordered item on BUD'S, item is perfect, I'm going to use as a personal carry plus 3, 15 round magazines AWESOME. Liked the advise of one of the reviewer's to break in handgun from 165 grain to 180 grain. Will buy again!! Only complaint, item came in cardboard box, I expected a case from SIG SAUER..

I couldn't be happier with this handgun! I have several SIGs but this is the first one that had the SRT - short reset trigger. What a difference, especially for fast follow up shots. This model came with 4 mags and I don't know what the difference is but they were very easy to load. SIGs usually have a fairly stiff mag spring but these did not. Straight out of the box with no cleaning (I did check for obstructions in the barrel) I put 200 rounds through it with not one failure of any type. Also checked all 4 mags - no issues, Seemed to shoot a little low. I usually like to line up right below my aiming point but had to aim just above to hit my intended spot. Looking forward to many years of dependable service - after all, it is a SIG. Bud's was terrific, as usual. Came in one Saturday and ordered it. Picked it up next week. Thanks Bud's!

First off, this gun will require a break in period, but you should expect that from a metal frame. I called Sig Sauer on another matter and they told me the recommended break in is about 200 rounds. I didn't think and ran my first 100 rounds break in as 165gr, then switched to 180gr, use 180gr for the break in and you will experience many fewer issues (all FTF for me). After those 200 rounds, this gun is silk. Smooth DA and SA, really clean SA release and the alloy frame softens .40 recoil. This 226 has it all, SRT (Short Reset Trigger), short reach trigger, night sights (tritium and fiber optic front) and the grips are an extended magwell. On top of that, it comes with 4 (FOUR) magazines (14round capacity .40). What more could you want? A great Sig, pricy, but needs nothing once you break it in.
