You'll want to get the dpms lpk or their dr-10 upgrade kit as the takedown pins will be too long in other kits. The bolt catch and mag release have differences as well. Other than that I'm happy with it. Hope this helps someone out there.

I tried 3 or 4 of the supposedly best 1911s, problems with each but not this one the last several years at work I carried this one, No issues at all, no jams or FTFs. Cycled all the ammo I ran thru it. Duty was Winchester Ranger 45. I'm sorry I sold it upon retirement. Put a quality light/ laser on yours. ...for a budget price. Just brought it home from my FFL. It's all I'd hoped it would be. Flawless finish, and I love the green color of the stock. Question: is that color a Bud's exclusive? I haven't seen any others in anything but black. Steel sling swivel studs are a huge improvement. Kudos to CVA for always taking steps to improve their already excellent products. I had the original Shield 9 years ago...been wanting it in 45 for quite a while. It's slim, the grip texture is great, as is the trigger...wish it came with another magazine though. Sights are excellent quality, although I prefer a blacked our rear and something super bright up front, but that's easily solved. Overall an excellent pistol...can't beat it for the price!

Inglis P35B,I needed a 9MM pistol all my pistols are 1911 45 ACP. Decided on a HiPower, the original cost very expensive. Settled on clone and I am very happy with this pistol. Thanks to Buds for a reasonable price.
