I love this version of the famous Browning 1911. This scaled down version is chambered in 22 LR and shots like a dream. I used it for my CCW Renewal and did just fine. My wife and I both use and enjoy it on the range. I would strongly recommend it for anyone who needs a small caliber hand gun. I'm really happy with this pistol. I shot over 200 rounds through it at the range last week and didn't have any malfunctions. It is a fun little plinking pistol and the fact that it functions the same as a full size 1911 is a great bonus for training new shooters. As an owner of a couple other Browning pistols, I knew that I was paying a premium in terms of price versus other manufacturers, but it is totally worth it.

Accurate gun for size. Not the quality you would expect from a browning. Also only comes with 1 magazine.

This was purchased as a training aid for my wife. She has very small hands but her favorite thing to shoot is her full size 1911-45; after 25 or so rounds her hands are hurting and practice suffers. The feel and operation of this pistol is the exact same as a full size 1911, just no recoil. First time at the range and after running a few drills and 100 rounds the Browning 1911-22 lr she went to her full size 45. She achieved perfect performance with her full size. For that this pistol rates 100%. As for just a fun gun to shoot, this one fills the bill, hands down. It is well made and much more gun for the money spent. Eats almost any 22 lr ammo with ease. This is not a target gun but if you are looking to keep 10 shots in a 2 inch circle at 40 feet time after time from a one handed stance, this is your gun. Bud's is great as always. Even better, Bud's put it on sale two weeks after we purchased. We submitted a claim on the BuySafe guarantee and three weeks later we a check for the difference. You cannot ask for more than that.
