This 1911 pistol has been out of stock for a long time here on Bud's. Anybody have an idea about what the wait time is like if I reserve this gun, paying for it now? I know they say after 90 days you can cancel your reservation, but I'm curious if this model is likely to take a couple weeks, a month, 2 months, 3 months, 6 months? I'm not crazy part with $700+ indefinitely. Appreciate any feedback from those who've successfully reserved & then bought & received this pistol.
Thanks!

Springfield Gear Up promotion is apparently very successful as this model is consistently sold out at most sellers. I flagged this pistol as to be notified when available between the 3rd and 6th of March. On the 13th of March, I got an email stating it was in stock but could only be purchased by Team Bud's members. Besides the membership fee, there's a waiting period (I think 3 days) before you can make your 1st Team Bud's purchase. I decided to pass on Team Bud's & roll the dice. I checked the site in the morning and afternoon for availability for a few days and in the afternoon of the 15th it was available for general purchase (no email from Bud's when it went available for general purchase). I placed my order and received my pistol a week later (delivered free to Bud's in Lexington). So my experience was 9-12 day wait but due diligence to watch for when it went live for general public. It took a month to get the promotional package from Springfield. The holster is minimal but fine for range or back yard shooting. Mag carrier's nice and free mags are fine.
