  • There seems to be confusion as to moon clips use-the cylinder is cut to use moon clips and they work well if you know how to load the clips. The 357 cartridge does not require the use of moon clips and can be loaded individually or by a moon clip- This is an option and a nice option to have if you want to invest in a clip loader and clip spent round unloader. It is quicker to load and makes it easier to keep up with your spent brass.

  • Yes you are correct moon clips are not required on Rimed cases like the .38 special/.357. They are a nice option if your cylinder is cut for them

  • Gary, you are correct on the Moon Clip cut on the Cylinder. This revolver can fire without them but, I use mine as a poor man's "Speed Loader" all the time and it works great. Thanks for the clarification as the Community members appreciate your information. Cheers!
