Bought this rifle back in 2020, it's taken me a few to write this review. I've set this up to be a mid range (max 100 to 200 yds) rifle with a PA acss red dot and vortex 3x magnifier. Have run matches with it and have approx 1500 rounds through it all together. Runs flawlessly with zero malfunctions. Go for it, don't hesitate, it's worth every penny. As always buds rocks. They have me as a customer for life.

Excellent balance and very crisp trigger right out of the box. Lives up to the Daniel Defense reputation.

I was skeptical when I bought this that it was going to be that much better than the mid-priced AR-15s I already owned. It is. It's the difference between a standard Toyota and a Lexus. The fit and finish are great, the functionality is great, and the details that command such a price tag are substantial. I do not hesitate to recommend this rifle.

The rifle is ok, I expect a lot more in an AR when you start getting into this price category. Your better off with a POF P415 Edge, it’ll out perform this rifle any day. When compared side by side with what you pay for and receive you’ll notice the difference immediately.
The PRO’s: decent rifle look, 1-7 twist, cold hammer forged, chrome-lining, m-lok rail.
The CONS: The dust cover is plastic, for the price I expect metal, irregardless if it’s a few ounces to save on weight. The trigger to me seemed mil-spec (heavy and a little sluggish almost), again for the price I expect top tier performance or a polished single stage from RA, Hyperfire, Geissele, or even an in house polish trigger. I tossed the DD stock trigger and replaced it with a Geissele.
I feel your paying for the name not for a supposedly good product.

I got this rifle in a timely manner. Thank you Buds! Put an EOTECH EXPS3-0 on it along with an EOTECH G33 magnifier along with Magpul Pro steel front and rear sights. It's a great setup! Smooth triggers, no feeding issues. Highly recommend if you're looking for a mid to high-end AR-15. Worth every penny to me. I also have a budget AR-15 that also works great. Nice to have both.

There is good reason why Daniel Defense is known for quality. The build on this AR is quality. The price is very good for what you get. Just a no nonsense, solid AR platform that will last forever. I could not be happier.

Buds was great as usual, no issues. They gave me top dollar for my trade and made the process as smooth as possible. They also matched another online price making it a fantastic buy. As for the gun, I love it. Build quality is amazing and it shoots like a dream. The hand guard feels great while shooting making it very fun to shoot. If you are looking for a full sized AR, you cannot go wrong with the DDM4 V7.

Awesome gun, no doubt...however it was filthy when I picked it up. FFL dealer said it's just "cosmo" . I'm like dude, it's not an SKS or old Mosin. Sure, it will scrub off, but when buying a top of the line gun, like automobiles, you expect just a little bit more. Plus, I didn't realize I was going to get hit with tax from the FFL. So my $1600 AR ended up costing closer to $1800.00. Again, it's a damn sweet firearm and I love it, but next time I will build my own.

This thing is load with the best features if your on the fence and are able to buy DD stop just get it now don't wait it's that good.
