This keltec is a great defensive pocket pistol. Very slim very light. Trigger safety only, long trigger pull but if you need to aim it is stageable and I have been surprised with the accuracy. When you can't haul a big gun there is just no excuse not to have your KelTec p3at. 380 auto is effective at close range and this thing will go bang when you need it to. It is made in U.S.A and that is important to me it is also made in Florida and I really like that. If you want a small 380 acp you want this gun. If you want a big good shooting 380 acp then a walther ppk .

DO NOT BUY THIS P.O.S!!! Sent it back to factory where it sat for 6 weeks!!! After receiving it and being told their gunsmiths "fixed" it it still doesn't work!!! Spend a little extra and get the LCP! I have had ZERO flaws with it!

Since the day I bought this gun it has been stove-piping. Initially, I gave the gun the benefit of the doubt; I thought it just needed some breaking in. I have since used well over 300 rounds in this gun and suffer a stove-pipe ever other round. The best I could get, to date, is 2 rounds in a row without a stove-pipe. This has been a very unreliable gun, one I no longer bother to carry as the first round, even when manually fed, will almost always stove-pipe. In summary, this is a very unreliable gun and I have no idea how it received the good ratings which convinced me to buy it in the first place. Respectfully, Terry Duff

The gun requires a break in before it will cycle federal hydrashocks reliably, as do many pistols. Which is EXPECTED! Once I put about 100 rounds of FMJ through the gun (with zero problems), it had no problems shooting the hollow points. Excellent pistol. Very well designed. Unbelievable for its size. Don't let other reviews scare you, once the gun is broken in, it cycles hollowpoints no problem.

I am not sure if my first review went through correctly but here is the final review. This gun jams. I experienced several FTF and FTE with about 5 different ammunitions. I tried slow fire and fast fire. The gun failed to load correctly and jammed on the first and second ( multiple) rounds. After a good home cleaning I discovered a lot of manufacturing metal particles throughout the gun. The magazine include also had issues. The follower would jam when depressed.

This is an awesome pocket carry gun. I had a few stovepipes but only in the first 10 rounds. It has never missed a beat in the next 400 rounds. I have this matched up with a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster with a Crimson trace LG-430 laser. Carry it loaded with Buffalo Bore 380 Auto +P Ammo - 100 gr. Hardcast F.N. (1150fps/ M.E. 294 ft. lbs.). I absolutely love this setup. I have other carry guns that are larger. This 380 is what gets carried most often. Bud’s was great as always, good price and fast delivery.

Awesome CCW firearm. Shoot very well at 7 yards which is what it is intended for. A++ for Kel-Tec and A++ for Buds. Fast shipping to my FFL in 2 days. A couple of jams during breakin period. Ran 200 rounds through it and no problems eating Federeal Hydrashock 90 gr. I highly recommend this firearm for primary carry by LAB's. Thanks!!

My example has never had a single failure of any type during 400 or so rounds of S&B, PMC, Blazer Brass, and Hornady XTP's. It is also plenty accurate as well. The only thing I don't care for is that the front edge of the trigger is rather sharp. You don't feel it when your the pad of your trigger finger is in the middle of the blade, but once you pull the trigger fully rearward and the middle has now pivoted upwards, your finger has moved towards the bottom of the blade. Some people complain about the small sights, but they are useable at the range, and I probably won't be using them anyway if I ever have to use it to defend myself. Stripping is a bit fussy, but one can't expect everything in a pistol this small. Overall, a nice little pistol that fulfills it's role quite well. It's the only pistol that I don't immediately remove once I get home, and one sits on my hip as I type this....

This is the smallest, most concealable gun I own, and I now own two of them. Neither one required the two hundred round break in period. Both fired flawlessly right out of the box. I've owned the first one for two years now, put approximately two thousand rounds of every type of ammunition on the market and I've never encountered a malfunction, jam or problem. Due to its size, it does kick quite a bit, which might be uncomfortable to the uninitiated, and cause stove piping, just suck it up. If you are not ready to fire a powerful mini gun, buy something bigger.
