Crickett 722 Sporter 22 Long Rifle Semi Auto Rifle - 1 Round

Please read entire review. This gun went from a 1 star to 5 star product for me. I will explain. I received the rifle with a little bit of shipping scratches on the stock but still excepted the rifle from FFL. Rifles have a very nice quality feel, but are slim and on the lighter side. Adult sized, just lighter than many .22lrs. The light weight had me excited to try it for long walks hunting. To the range....The accuracy was terrible. These have an accuracy guarantee so I was worried something was wrong. I emailed Keystone. Next morning had an email to return the rifle so they could review it and paid for shipping. I didn't hear anything for over a week so I got back in touch with Keystone. They were very nice to deal with. They said I had a bad barrel and because they felt bad I waited over a week to hear from them they would ship me back a classic model not a sporter if I was ok with that since I had a few scratches on my original sporter stock. There customer service is amazing and I would buy again with total confidance. New rifle is amazingly accurate. Quality of walnut, bluing, fit and finish of both are top notch. All metal construction. Zero plastic except for magazine. I love these .22lrs. Very comparable quality if not maybe better than a CZ but it's a noticeable slimmer lighter package rifle than a CZ. Note that the pistol grip area is tighter on the sporter than classic. You can see it in the pics of each rifle. I prefer the classic open grip but loved the simple plain lines of the sporter. The actions are a little stiff when new but become very nice and smooth after a few hundred rounds. If you enjoy a quality .22lr give these Keystones a serious look, I think it's the best US made .22 for the money.

This is my second KSA722, if it wasn't for Buds guns I wouldn't have known they existed. The fit and finnish is fantastic. Classic lines with Beautifully finished walnut stock. These guns are half the price of a CZ455 and more pleasing to the eye and hands. This gun has a fiber optic front sight . It's my new favorite afternoon plinking machine. Thanks to buds and to his staff for all the help.
