The CZ USA 557 Sporter Synthetic Bolt Action rifle is an all purpose rifle designed for hunters and sport shooting enthusiast alike. The CZ 557 Sporter Synthetic is built on a Mauser style bolt commonly found on CZ 550's. Specifically the 557 features a short extractor and plunger style ejector for smooth operation and enhanced ejection. The short extractor/push feed system also makes it much easier to single load the rifle which many shooters seem to prefer. The new production receiver is machined from steel billet and features CZ's integral 19mm dovetails for mounting a scope. If that wasn't enough the 557 comes with a fully adjustable trigger allowing you to tune weight, creep and over-travel to your specifications.
