This beautiful rifle is a continuation of a Limited Edition series that started in 2014 with the Model 336 Limited. This year’s limited model is an 1895 Cowboy and it is a perfect addition for the avid collector - with only 1500 being manufactured. Its 24” octagon barrel and full length magazine tube stay true to its cowboy heritage. And its premium styling features a B-grade walnut stock, an elk in gold inlay on the left side of the receiver and the classic Marlin Horse and Rider on the right side.

Just picked up the new Marlin 1895 LTD 45-70 and it is perfect...well almost perfect. The fit and finish looks great, action is pinky smooth. Still has the floppy trigger, in gold I may add...not ok, but it looks great and it matches the gold inlay. Also, the Marbles buckhorn front site is Not made of brass. It's a white plastic bead. Now I don't know why marlin would do that on such an impeccable rifle. I prefer the brass bead over plastic. To whomever decides to get one of these beauties, I hope u get that brass bead front sight. Haven't had the chance to shoot it but it's been field stripped, cleaned and ready to rock. It comes with a 5yr warrantee so if its a lemon u can send it back to marlin and they'll take care of it. That brass bead though...4stars would've gotten 5 if it came with the brass bead. Seriously, it's a beautiful gun and the bolt even comes engraved.
