Magnum Research Desert Eagle .44 MAG Burnt Bronze - 8+1 Rounds, 3-Dot Sights

My only complaint about this gun is how it arrived, I had to disassembly the gun first and put it back together before it could function properly. It came with the zip tie stuck in a way that I can't rack the slide back at all. I had to take off the barrel first before doing anything else. Other than that, I had one FTF (PMC ammo) but it ran flawlessly after without any issue. I think the issue may have came from the magazine. I have the .50AE conversion kit for this and that one was SPOT ON compared to the .44 Rem Mag it originally came with.

Exactly as Promised, Very fine Firearm

After a long California (10 day) wait I finally picked up my .44 mag. Desert Eagle last saturday evening from my FFL friend. I only had an hour of range time before dark, so I made the best of it. I managed to fire off 50 hand load rounds as well as a few factory made. The gun shot very well, even after a few "short stroke" mistakes, but that was all my fault. I'm impressed with the accuracy of this pistol and the recoil is super manageable being a semi auto. I thank Buds gun shop for getting my DE to me in one piece after the crazy holiday overload!

When it first arrived to the dealer ship, and seen the gun in person, the burnt bronze finish looks way much better in person then picture. My conversion kit ( .50AE )works on this California approval which I love about it. Easy. just remove barrel and Mag. Now people say it's a Jam -O- matic but when I shot the Eagle with the original barrel (.44 rem mag) and mag. First full mag ( 8 rounds ) shot perfect. All shots went through and didn't jam, and locked in open chamber. The second mag, only got 2 failure to feed. I think It needed to be broken in because after that I shot another 50 rounds without it jamming. Hasnt jam since. However, The conversion kit (.50ae) had no jams and I shot 40 rounds so far. it's an amazing gun. Bit heavy, feels like great quality. Only down sides is that it gets dirty quick, only comes with 1 .44 mag and it's bit pricy to shoot with .44 or .50. But buying ammo shouldn't be an issue since you can own a Desert Eagle.
