First AR I ever bought. Great firearm. Accurate, fun to shoot. Only issue mine has is it doesn’t like to feed the first couple rounds out of a standard magazine. 20 round magazine or 25 and under in the magazine and it functions just fine. I feel the buffer spring is a bit weak. Plan on replacing it at some point. Was quick and easy to order through buds though. Fast shipping and kept you informed the entire time.

Shoots like a champ right out of the box. The fit of the upper and lower could be tighter and had a blemish on the logo. Not the worst thing but we are talking about a 1000 dollar rifle.

Shipped oiled in an airtight bag.my young eyes first experience with a Stoner rifle turned odd to wow… Now with older eyes fired with attached M9 Ontario. unadjusted Iron sights, vicker tact sling.. cheap wolf ammo in pm dim light at a 12” metallic torso.. all hits .. solid 39” 8 pounds rifle makes a great club or spear. cant say about sand storm malfunction perhaps entry at muzzle ? because even trigger portal is tight.. no free floating barrel or light trigger or forearm appliance friendly. A profiled battle rifle with the historic makers name at a price to be getting what I paid for.

Great service from buds, The rifle itself is beautiful. The Finish is fantastic pretty much what you would expect from an Fn. I was choosing between a colt 6920 and this, and boy am I glad I got this. Sadly I have to wait 2 months to actually fire it but i'm sure with the way the barrel looks it will be a fantastic experience.

The FN 15 is of excellent quality and exhibits excellent workmanship, the barrel and bolt are both MP & HP tested and so marked. The carrier is a full size M16 carrier, it has a 1/7 twist barrel and typical M16 furniture. The upper and lower are 7075 T6 alloy Cerro forge marked with a tight fit with almost no wobble. Small parts are normal Mil Spec grade and fit nicely. Trigger pull is typical GI around 6Lbs the carrying handle sight is typical GI style with Brass and Aluminum forge square mark. The finish is a deep black and is flawless through out , The action cycles perfect with no FTF's or FTE's accuracy is on par with most normal AR 15's. I own a Colt, LMT, Vltor, S&W, Umbrella Corporation, Spikes Tactical and Palmetto State Armory AR15"s and have built several others and can honestly this is a excellent rifle made of quality parts from a great manufacturer. Do not believe the talk you hear on some of the AR 15 forms this rifle is equal to or better than any Colt product, check it out for yourself. Buds service was excellent as always.
