  Miguel, I would ask Mossberg on the compatibility of the "Full size" Stock at Tel: (203) 230-5300 | 8:00am-4:30pm Eastern. P.S. You could always put on a slip on recoil pad to both reduce recoil and lengthen the stock.

• Q: Never owned a shotgun. Handled several at a local store including this model. How does youth models being lighter affect the recoil? I like the shorter barrel for HD. Held a pistol gripped other brand, didn't like the feel of it.

  Lighter weight will mostly translate to more recoil Stuart. The absolute best and inexpensive method would be a recoil reduction pad like a "Limb Saver" or "Air Tech" reduce recoil by up to 70 % depending on model if you prefer a pump over a semi auto shotgun. https://limbsaver.com/collections/firearms-products/products/airtech-slip-on-recoil-pad
