Received purchased "Billy Dixon" 45-70 Sharps. In excellent condition. Searched for some time and found Buds the least expensive, yet same gun offered by competitors at higher, sometimes much higher price point. I would definitely recommend Buds to anyone looking for excellent quality fire arms at very reasonable pricing.

Pro: The finish on this Chiappa (Armi Sport) Billy Dixon model is excellent. The wood to metal fit on this rifle is the best of any firearm I have owned. Con: The most readily apparent negative appeared when I opened the box. The finger lever does not fit flush with the bottom metal when closed. There is a 1/4" gap between the rear trigger guard tab and the base metal. That may be the way Chiappa manufactures them but not the way Sharps intended and not consistent with the product picture. Does not affect the function at all and actually nice to have a distended "finger rest", but visually distracting. The second con involves the lock work. Gritty, but functional. Hopefully this will smooth out over time. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase but only 4 stars worth.

Item damaged when arrived, buds wouldn’t help even though I paid to have it insured during shipping and Cimarron said it happened in shipping and they were not responsible wont recommend buying anything from either of these companies this is just crazy poor service almost 1300 bucks for junk
