AM ANODIZED LOWER KIT W/ 80% FINISHING JIG

So I bought this lower and jig combo kit in hopes of finishing an 80% lower at a very reasonable cost, but the "you get what you pay for" feeling is how I feel about this set. While it appears many people have been successful with this kit, I am not one of them. Therefore, some of my problems are likely user error but the jig did not make things easy. 1. Upon arrival, one of the screws that holds the top plate on had threads that were all screwed up and it would not work. Fortunately this was resolved with a quick trip to Fastenal but was still disappointed. 2. The lower did not arrive with any markings including the Fire/Safe markings. Can't hold this against them as it is not marketed that way but still was disappointing. 3. The directions are very clear and easy to follow. The issues I ran into were that this is a kit that claims this can be completed with a drill press only. I do not recommend completing an AR lower with a drill press. Borrow a router from a friend and do it the proper way. This set is a good bargain but the jig is not worth the money. I broke drill bits, the drill bits did not follow the guide holes as they are too close together for the size drill bit it recommends. There are a lot of little issues. I basically ended up with a half drilled out AR lower, this jig is now for sale on local websites, and I have purchased a 5d Tactical Router Jig and am awaiting it's arrival so I can complete this lower correctly.
