• Q: if a 147 grain (bullet weight) is indeed heavier than say a 115 grain, is the powder loading the same? With distance the heavier bullet will drop more than a lighter one, so why would I choose the 147 grain?

  Hi Simon, you would choose 147 grain if you wanted more stopping power, which would usually be up close. For target practice you may want to use 115 grain. They are not loaded with the same powder.

• Q: Any reasons/advantages using 147 Gr instead of 124 NATO? Will heavy bullet make less recoil?

  147 has a bit more recoil but not very noticeable. 124 grain it's kind of in between the 115 grain and 147 which is a pretty good medium. The 147 has a bit more stopping power because it's heavier but it's also slower that's just my two cents.
