  honestly, when it comes to rimfire, it is really going to depend on the specific pistol.....however, generally, pointed tip, higher velocity ammo (like the hornady in question) will generally cycle just fine.

  Mark, no sir, .22 win mag, also known as .22wmr or .22 magnum, can only be shot from a gun chambered for .22 magnum. It is not the same round as .22lr

  No, this is 22 Magnum ammo. You want 22 long rifle ammo. Just type 22 lr ammo into buds search and any of those will work. Hope this helps.

  Yes sir this 22WMR ammo will work with your Rossi, as will 40gr WMR.

  Hello there sweets. I could say yes that they’ll be good for self defense. They weigh lighter but travel faster. 22 magnum is a small force to reckoned with. You’re right, as they are more for speed and accuracy. Still, I’d prefer hollows. That’s just me. Happy shootin.

• Q: I have a 22 magnum kel tec PMR 30 handgun. Since this round doesn’t have a traditional shaped bullet do you think it would cycle with minimal issue out of my semi auto? I haven’t seen any videos of that. I want to buy this ammo in bulk to save some cash. Thanks.

  These will cycle in the gun. Or better I should say the gun will cycle these rounds with no issue, unless your gun is already having an issue then the issue won’t be the ammo.
