Great gun. Wished I held out for the Shield Plus at first, but this one is smaller and is my "going for a jog" EDC Highly recommend ordering Talon grip stickers for this though. the stock grips hurt and my hands are rough, so for normal hands it's too much probably. Since getting talon grips it's my favorite "quick grab" gun to comfortably carry

I have bought multiple guns through Buds over the years and usually don’t leave reviews (I read all the reviews on things I’m interested in but fall short in leaving my own!). However, I did feel compelled to leave a review on the S&W MP Shield 9. I’ve struggled on finding the appropriate handgun for CC, this one I prefer over all others I have carried. I really like the thumb safety, I know it’s not for everyone but having served 20 years in the Army, keeping a weapon safe until ready to use is ingrained in me! The thumb safety is perfectly located for my right hand, thumb naturally aligns and it’s a muscle memory reaction to drop the safety with a chambered round. Trigger action is far, far better than my Ruger LC9 (so are many others)! I have average size hands, so the fit is perfect, and this is the simplest auto handgun to field strip I’ve seen to date. Cons: it only comes with one 8 rd mag, and it’s better to use a speed loader to depress the spring mechanism while loading, otherwise it’s a tedious process. 10 rd mags are available, two are on order! All in all, this is an exceptional CC piece, and I’d recommend anyone looking for a 9mm CC, check this one out, it’s definitely in a top 5 for consideration based on price and name brand!

Very nice! The shield is a super reliable firearm and excellent for concealed carry. This 2.0 model has a much more aggressive grip texture than the original. Overall, excellent concealed carry firearm! The price isn’t bad either!

This was my first time purchasing a firearm. I was skeptical but live in a rural area and haven't many options near me. I have been wanting to get one that is easily concealable and decided on the M&P Shield. Everything was quick and easy from having resource videos to see the gun in actions, checkout, shipping, and meeting with the gun dealer. Most reliable gun I’ve owned. My girlfriend carries hers as a CC - once I shot it - I knew I needed one. Very smooth, love the grip on the handle, and very little recoil. It’s a beautiful gun at the right price.
