The Mark IV has a simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy
field-stripping and proper chamber-to-muzzle cleaning. Features
contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears; a drilled and
tapped receiver for Weaver or Picatinny-style rail; ambidextrous manual
safety can be converted to left-side only with included washer;
push-button magazine release on the left side of the frame; Pressing a
button in the back of the frame allows the barrel-receiver assembly to
tilt up and off the grip frame without the use of tools. Includes two
10rd magazines.

I really like the gun. It feels great and is constructed with very few plastic parts. Also, there is an included option to remove the right hand ambi safety, which is excellent. I was surprised that the trigger was so awful... probably the creepiest I've ever had. I will have to upgrade the trigger, as there is no way the gun can reach its potential with the factory one.

This is a well balanced and comfortable pistol to shoot. The controls are well placed and easy to use for an older shooter of 80 years. I really like the take-down method on the Mark IV, so simple compared to the Mark I and II (both of which I owned in the past). No malfunctions occurred in the first 50+ rounds but the sights were set slightly left of center with a center of bullseye hold and even worse if sighted according to the instructions. The trigger is excellent. I highly commend Ruger for maintaining and improving a wonderful product.

Love this pistol! Very accurate, runs with out failure with most ammo. Easy to break down and clean. Certainly one of my favorites!

Wow, what can I say, I took a chance on this piece, and i was not disappointed, it breaks down for cleaning with the push of one button. It shoots the 22LR, I changed the grips to wood, got a new leather luger holster. Wish I could share a pic, of a great buy.
