I got this on Saturday. Beautiful rifle and shoots well. I had to push the rear sight a little to zero it. I’m going to put a scope on it. Would definitely recommend. So much fun to shoot. I put about 300 rounds through it with no hiccups. I used 40 grain Aguila super extra.

It shoots good, but Ruger's quality has gone downhill on 10/22's and other firearms over the years. The action sounds like sandpaper on metal. My Grandpa and Dad's old ones are my go to's.

I've never owned a 10/22 and always wanted to. I had to go for a wood stock and 22 inch barrel for my first one and this version is beautiful. I'm glad I ordered when I did because it was out of stock shortly after. I mounted my scope and sling on it, took it out to the range, and it shot flawlessly with 3 types of ammo I put through it. I plan on hunting with this gun and I can't wait to get out there. Awesome 10/22. Highly recommended.

Five stars for Bud's that they had this model 10/22 in stock , good price, and quick delivery. Five stars for Ruger too, accuracy was right on straight out of the box. This model is the rifle version of the 10/22 not the carbine. The 22 inch barrel has a longer sighting plane, moves the noise further from the shooters ears and is a bit safer to handle. This rifle handles standard velocity ammo with no problem, its a well made rifle you will enjoy very much.

First off, you can't go wrong with the 10/22 since it can be accessorized like no other rimfire. I own Ruger PC carbine and that was what convinced me to buy a 10/22 but, having to hold the bolt back and push the bolt release button at the same to lock or unlock the bolt is not so easy with big fingers. The bolt locking device on the PC Carbine would be nice on the 10/22. I've only had the 10/22 for a couple of days but I don't foresee any problems based on my friends recommendations and reputation. I've also ordered the duo-mag since I live in Calif. and we are limited to 10 round magazines, so the duo-mag is another Ruger accessory. Thanks Buds, Thanks Ruger

Bud's is awesome , gun arrived if perfect condition and within two days. Of all the different 10/22's out there in my opinion this is the one to have . The stock is beautiful checkered pattern which gives it a comfortable feel and traditional look. And the 22 inch barrel makes easier to reach out more accurately . Great gun, American classic.
