DoubleStar 16 STARCAR A3 20RD MAG

The STARCAR is actually stamped on the lower as a STAR-15 model (found that out when I got the rifle). This is DSC's best selling model, it comes with heavy match barrel w/1in9 twist, Teflon coated upper and lower. Stamped 5.56Nato on the barrel, BUY THIS GUN you won't be disappointed... unless you want to spend more money for something less or equal quality this rifle is tight and right! I bought a colt back in the 1980's and this rifle is built every bit as well. . looks great, shoots great, cost is great, made in America, it's also now my wife's favorite to shoot as well. Can't praise this gun enough, way to go DSC! Keep up the good work! Would buy a second in a heartbeat, no hesitation, nuff said.

Got weapon today... looks good as expected. It came with a 20 round mag. It's stamped 5.56mm on barrel and lower, which is a big positive. I slapped MAGPUL hand guard and rails on. Have purchased more PMAG mags also. Came with usual expected manuals and NRA stuff.. lots of DS paraphernalia.. so far so good... still waiting on my ammo to go shoot.

Still waiting on my FFL to release the weapon. Bud's shipped and delivered it as quickly as could be hoped for... however MD requires a 10 day wait before it can be picked up. Will write a review after I inspect, clean, and fire the weapon. Have purchased both .223 and .556 rounds... still waiting to see if this rifle is chambered for .556 or .223 only- definite paucity of details... I have googled and googled and still am not sure.
