Great ammo for my hand cannon. This is for my Magnum Research SA and it does the job.

In terms of recoil, this is probably the lightest round you can get in my opinion. It's very manageable when fired from the 8 3/8 inch barrel and is good for indoor ranges since it doesn't produce the massive ground-shaking concussion like most 500 rounds do (although it's still loud, but not to the point of being obnoxious). These are by far my favorite rounds to shoot out of my 500 and I always check this ammo first thing when i shop for 500 ammo.

Amscor 50 cal rounds for my Smith and Wesson 500 are beautiful. These cartridges produced much less recoil, and are good for the shooting range.

I highly recommend this if you are shooting .500 S&W mag for the first time or letting someone else shoot it. Out of a 10" BFR, these feel like 44 mag. It makes for some very tame plinking ammo or light game loads. I plan to keep these loaded up for hogs whenever I hunt.

Loaded very weak, and the HP did not expand 10/40 times i fired it in gel, water, 2x4's and 1 hog which i recovered the projectiles. Acted like a FMJ. Waste of money.
