The Boone & Crockett Club was founded by a group of passionate, visionary men led by Theodore Roosevelt, and has been at the forefront of America's wildlife conservation effort since 1887. Creating a code of ethics and establishing rules of fair chase, the club has given hunters a set of guiding principles through which they can help sustain America's natural resources for future generations. "Heroes of Conservation" is the first collection in this series. It pays tribute to the men like Theodore Roosevelt who gave rise to the American conservation movement and forever changed the way we view our wildlife resources. Like the Boone & Crockett Club, Buck is committed to helping protect America's wildlife resources and hunting heritage by passing on the ideals of fair chase that the club established more than a century ago.
