The 6th Generation of Glock pistols delivers enhanced ergonomics for increased usability and comfort with a unique optic ready system. The Gen6 pistols features an optic ready system; ergonomic frame with palm swell; extended thumb rest; enlarged beavertail; slide serrations are angled deeper into the slide to make the surface engagement more tactile for slide manipulations; grip texture combines 2 textures into one to create the perfect blend of performance and comfort on an extended surface area; flat faced trigger design comes standard and maintains the Safe Action System for uncompromising safety and reliability. The undercut trigger guard and the reduced distance from the frame to the trigger allows for a higher grip and easier reach for a variety of users. Includes three optic plates that allow various optics to be screwed directly into the slide.

The latest g19 is my favorite! Best feel of my other glocks. My first with a dot optic. Great purchase from Buds and couldn’t have been easier. Excellent communication!

Is the Gen 6 better than Gen3, 4, 5 or V? I don’t know, but it is a great firearm. Trigger is awesome, weight/balance is spot on, new grip is excellent and it’s a Glock. I could do without the pronounced beaver tail, but it’s not so different than a 1911…nobody complains about those.

Very happy with this. I have not owned a Glock before, but I decided to try the new gen 6 out. Everyone that holds it really likes the grip, and the fit and finish/tolerances are superb. The trigger does leave something to be desired (if you care), and the sights are plastic (which got banged up just from a deep clean). I do wish that it had better iron sights and a serialized FCU. I have not tried the optics mounting system, so I cannot comment on that. It does shoot very nice, and gives me something to tinker with. If you do not plan on tinkering, I would get a Ruger RXM instead.

I've shot over 200 rounds through the gun at this point, and it has not disappointed. The enhanced grip texture on the gen 6 Glock is outstanding. The slight palm swells on the grip improve the comfort and shootability. The trigger is not quite as lite as I was anticipating, but its something that can be easily overcome with consistent practice. Overall I love the gun, and give Glock two thumbs up for what they've offered.

It’s the Glock 19 with some very welcome upgrades particularly the ergonomics and optic mounting solution. If you haven’t held a Gen 6 yet I’d urge you to do so the grip texture is fantastic, locks into your hand without being abrasive. I did temporarily mount a RMR HD to try out the new mounting system and it couldn’t be easier, install your included optic footprint gasket and the optic itself and you’re done no more MOS plates. This one is going into a system with just iron sights and the shooting experience is great very accurate, very soft, and easily managed with the improved texture. There are plenty of other polymer striker fired pistols on the market but if track record, holster support, and reliability are of concern the new Gen 6 delivers with some improvements albeit not a revolutionary change. Which is kinda what we want from the G19.

I was skeptical about yet another new Glock generation but this one is by far the most impactful addition they have made in their lineup in years. The texturing is super grippy, the trigger much improved and the undercut trigger guard w/beavertail make getting a solid grip on the pistol much easier.
