Traditions has upgraded the features on the tried and true Buckstalker series to evolve it into the Buckstalker XT. With a premium-grade Chromoly steel barrel, this allows the Buckstalker XT to be lightweight yet accurate and strong. Features the Elite XT Trigger system; equipped with the Accelerator Breech Plug which removes in three turns by hand and requires no tools. Additionally, this one piece stainless steel breech plug allows you to fire both loose and pelletized powder; Dual Safety System makes this one of the safest muzzleloaders on the market thanks to the rebounding hammer and manual cross block trigger safety. Includes the Quick-T Ramrod Handle. It functions like a palm saver and t-handle all in one, making it easier and more comfortable to load your rifle.

Bought this gun as someone who doesn't know anything about muzzleloaders. Buds did a great job on the shipping during the Christmas season and they have the best prices. This is my 5th or so purchase from buds.

Very nice rifle for the price very reliable and easy to operate and also lightweight. Super easy cleaning with the thumb screw breech plug only thing I'm not crazy about is the flimsy ramrod the end that screws on is very small threads that extends the bullet starter and and Ben's when you try to load. The quick tea handle attachment threads snapped off inside the rod so I haven't been able to use it within the first few days I just have to manually put the plastic handle over the rod into a little hole in order to still use that rod
