Leupold DeltaPoint Micro 1x 3 MOA Red Dot Sight

I purchased 3 red dots for a G43, G44, and G19. My groups normal groups of 80% in a 8" paper pie plate at 17 yards, have been deteriorating because of aging eyes. I have been wanting to put red dots on my defense carry for some time, just hesitant because of having to either buy a new slide or have the OEM machined. This product solved that problem. After several hundred rounds in each gun i am back to acceptable accuracy, now 90 to 100% in the 8" target at 17 yards. I thoroughly enjoy shooting again. The sight picture and acquisition is sufficient for defensive carry. Low light situations are outstanding. It does not make conceal ability more difficult. The G44 did become sensitive to ammunition, with numerous failure to feeds using cheaper 22LR ammo, after mounting the red dot. Prior to the red dot it shot all ammo types, but now limited to CCI. I will continue using it on the G44 since it simulates what i carry. The only other slight downside is you have to remove the battery to disassemble for field breakdown cleaning. I will likely buy another one for the G29.
