Very happy with this gun. I have taken it clay shooting a handful of times. When the gun gets hot, it will occasionally have a challenge ejecting a shell. But great gun overall. I have not yet used the rifled barrel. I am planning on zeroing the scope later this month.

Great shotgun to get started hunting! Product fit the description and was as pictured. Super excited to get this sighted in with the provided scope and get in the field!

Great entry level do all shotgun. The 2.5x scope mounts directly to the mount attached to the barrel, so it should hold zero, although I can't speak to this as I haven't zerod in the scope, switched barrels, shot the field barrel, and switched back to the slug barrel to verify this. The rifled slug barrel is 24" long and heavy, making it a lot less handy than my old 18.5" 870 slug barrel. The barrels are easily swappable, the trigger is decent, and switching comb height is easy. If you're looking for your first gun, to hunt deer and birds, look no further than this Mossberg 500 Field Deer Combo.
