The Magpul PRS2 (Precision Rifle/Sniper) FAL Model is a drop-in, precision-adjustable butt stock especially designed for metric pattern FN FAL rifles and its variants. Designed to offer the fine-tuned, customized feel of a precision target stock, the PRS2 is adjustable for both cheek riser height and length-of-pull without sacrificing the durability necessary to withstand the operational environment. Compared to common plastic fixed stocks, the PRS2 has a similar minimum LOP but can extend up to 1.25" longer. Machined aluminum adjustment knobs feature positive-locking click detents to maintain position under recoil and allows easy, tool-less adjustments by simply rotating the knobs. Machined aluminum butt-plate and alloy steel adjustment shafts provide stability and strength to withstand severe impact conditions. Rubber butt-pad offers positive shoulder purchase to prevent slippage for optimal accuracy even with body armor or modular gear. Stronger and heavier than most OEM stocks, the PRS2 also adds beneficial weight to the rear of normally nose-heavy FAL rifles.

Shopping at Bud's was a good experience. Sales staff are very customer oriented.
Problem was with the stock. When I went to install on the rifle, the back buttplate screw (which must be removed for installation) was frozen in place. Could not remove it with a standard allen key, and ended up snapping off my allen driver ball end in the socket head. Now I cant remove the screw, and drilling it out will likely destroy the part. The screw must have been permanent-loctited in place. Presently working with Magpul to see what they can do. Appears to be a high quality stock and well made. Should work out fine once I solve this dilemma.

This is a very high quality unit which I suspect will provide custom fit and good long term service. Be aware I was not able to install my stock as shipped. I contacted Magpul and I was advised some of the FN FAL stocks shipped with the wrong butt stock. Magpul had me send an email and said the replacement part would be shipped to me in two weeks if it was in stock. If you buy this and you find the stock is impossible to install because of the cheek piece threading in the stock contacts the buffer tube then you have the wrong piece. I applaud Magpul for standing behind the mistake but it will add at least 2 additional weeks to my rifle build.
