John, "You aren’t likely to have many issues with ammo selection, which has been a failing in past Taurus pistols. Many avid shooters will tell you that cheep pistols generally require specific ammunition. This is because you often have to supplement the slop in your pistol with better quality ammunition. Cheep ammo in a cheep gun often leads to jamming and all sorts of issues. But amazingly, this doesn’t seem to be an issue with the G2C… From what we have seen in testing, you can feed the G2C some of the cheapest ammunition available. Yes, anything polymer obviously won't rust but the slide, Barrel and anything else metal definitely will. If you wipe it down and oil it really well after getting it wet you shouldn't have a problem. Just make sure if it gets wet when you're done wipe it down well, dry it, then oil it and you'll be fine. I have several gun even all metal like my 1911 and Beretta M9A1 that ill shoot in the rain sometimes and just cleaning and oiling after I've seen no rust. All guns have some metal parts to them so any gun can rust without proper care. Hope this helps.

I purchased this pistol in 2019, I ran a few magazines through it. I wasn’t a big fan of it myself. Most of the time you get what you pay for, with this one that is true. If you can’t afford a pistol that is nicer, this one will do. Just didn’t manager recoil and good as other 9mm that I own now.
