Ready to take on the worst that Mother Nature has to offer, the rugged Winchester Model 70 Extreme Weather SS sports stainless steel construction and a black composite stock. Even the sling swivel studs have a corrosion-resistant matte nickel finish. Like all Model 70s, the rifle has a smooth handling pre-'64 style action and superior accuracy.
You also get a piece of the Winchester Model 70 legend. It's not often a firearm has the endurance to last beyond its seventy-fifth birthday. Today's Model 70's feature the superb M.O.A. adjustable trigger with zero creep or overtravel, and offer legendary accuracy from their cold hammer forged free floated barrels. A recessed target crown enhances accuracy and protects the rifling. A Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad gives you optimal protection from felt recoil.
