Nightfall is 5 stars from sights down to the grips. Excellent service from Buds. When got home field striped pistol (always read manual ahead of time) cleaned and reassembled. Took it the range with other pistols. Ammo at range was 115 grain,124gr and 147 hollow points. This pistol does not like 115 gr failure to eject and feed. It was not the ammo as I fired the rejected ammo in th Hellcat with no problem. The mixture of various ammo companies no problem with either 124 or 147 loads. Fired around 100 rounds 124 no problem with excellent grouping @ 12 yards. The sights are excellent. My carry pistols all are loaded with 147 grain hollow points. I know by using this load I will not have any issues. Stay Safe.

I bought this gun for the right reason, I thought it looked sexy, then I tried to justify my decision. I researched many videos, dug through old forum postings to have some idea what might be the gun's pros and cons as well as problems. Found a great simple short video on disassembly and assembly, helped immensely. I was pleasantly surprised when I took it to Bud's gun range here in Lexington with its performance. The thought had crossed my mind that I might have bought an expensive Bersa Thunder with all the problems. No, this gun performed flawlessly! I am glad though that I brought some tactical shooting gloves with me. I think if you get a good grip on this gun with both hands you'll have tight accurate groupings. Shot one hundred rounds of Blazer CCI 124gr RN, with only one round jammed which I think I either limp wrist-ed or hadn't set the cartridge properly in the magazine. I get the impression from research that this gun might like 147gr over lighter bullets. When next I get to the range going to try some 147gr and 115gr ammo.

The Kimber Nightfall is an excellent shooting pistol and I love the grip fits my hand. My FFL dealer also liked this Kimber.
