  • Charles, yes sir, this is legal in Utah. No tax stamp required because it is a pistol. Adding a stock or brace would turn it into a short barreled rifle and then would require a tax stamp.

  • Hi Charles and welcome. No Tax Stamp needed since it is classified as a Handgun. Once the ATF Brace rules are settled, we will know if Braces are allowed without a Tax Stamp. Cheers and stay safe!

  • As it sits, you're good to go in Utah. But, as Ed C. Mentioned below, if you add a stock you're now in the SBR realm and would need a Tax Stamp.
