  • Jim, Press and hold either the (+) or (-) button longer than 1 second to turn the sight on. To turn the sight off press and hold either the (+) or (-) button longer than 1 second and the LED dot should turn off.

  • Jim, yea I've looked into buying the one you're talking about and read alot of complaints about the button placement. Not sure why sig would put it so close to the glass but hopefully they learned their lesson for future optics. This one isn't like that. If you look at the picture you can see the -/+ button on top of the red dot in front of the elevation knob. To turn it on or off just hold either -/+ button for 1 second or it has auto on/off. So this one's much easier to use. Hope this helps.
