Stevens 301 Compact 20 Gauge Shotgun
I’m thinking about buying this Stevens 20 ga. Single and am wondering if this is a better choice or a Revelation 350 series model K 20 ga.for $150. I’m wondering what the receiver on the Stevens is made from, also

Frank, personally I think the Stevens is your better choice. I've owned several Stevens shotguns and they've all been great. So as far as quality goes, I'd pick the Stevens. The receiver on this is made of carbon steel. If you would be interested in a pump action you can't beat a maverick 88. If interested here's a link to one but it's roughly $100 more than the Savage. Frank, the receiver on the Stevens 301 is carbon steel. Both being around the same price, I think it's a coin flip between the two. Have a great day!
