Sorry but this is not legal in Maryland. I'd recommend you do as I did and move to PA.

Maryland has a strict law on AK style weapons. They even have strict rules on ARs as well. Surprisingly even with a pro-gun governor, they have anti-gun senate and representatives.
Check Buds and also state laws on guns.

no it is not legal in As all AK47 based guns are banned "List of Specified Regulated / Banned ‘Assault Weapons’:
