Will this will fire 2 3/4 and slugs as well as the 3" rounds?

yes you can use the 2 3/4 ammo including slugs with no problems

Jim, yes Sir. Shotguns work the same as .357 Magnums being able to fire the shorter .38 Special rounds. Slugs and shot are no issue in 3 inch are shorter shells. Cheers and stay safe!
