Dennis, Not as quiet as .22 shorts, but noticeably quieter then high velocity 22lr. Would work in pump rimfire rifle, but may not cycle some semi-autos. You can hear the difference.

They're not as quiet as a shorts. But they are generally quieter than a standard 22 obviously. These are good if for Pest Control in your backyard without having to wear ear protections.

Dennis, no quite as quiet as a CB but decently so. These have a Muzzle Velocity of 710 FPS - Muzzle Energy of 45 ft/lbs and Features: 68 Decibels at shooters ear.
