No, ballistic vests are not one size fits all. The taller a person the taller the vest needs to be to cover your vital areas of your torso. Then men and women are just made differently mainly in the chest and hip areas. But the main adjustment for a vest is in the chest area. Therefore, vests need to be sized to give you the proper body protection coverage. From the reviews I have read the only problem big people have had to fit is some lady at 5'6", 200 pounds and large breasted says it would not fit her. The bigger guys had no problems.
