Is 223 Remington or 5.56 NATO recommended? Or does it matter?
Both 5.56 & .223.
Doesn't matter.
Hi Chad, this is rated for 5.56 NATO, so it will fire both 5.56 and the lower pressure .223 cartridge.
Stay safe & have a great day!
Hi Chad and welcome. Does not matter since the rifle barrel is stamped and chambered in 5.56NATO so it will shoot both. A .223 stamped barrel would only be recommended to shoot the lower pressure .223 ammunition. cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
