Small grip, lots of recoil but not a bad up close and personal pocket pistol that offers a clip.

Firearm had some small issues but after shooting it many times and a little filing it works good now

A decent little pistol for the price. Doesn't like to feed when dirty and that happens about half way thru a second mag... Not exactly reliable in my estimation.

Looks excellent and has functioned 100% with both 115gr JHP and FMJ ammo. The double action trigger pull is difficult to get used to and makes it difficult to fire multiple shots; but, the gun works as advertised.. Service from Bud's is quick and excellent.

This is a nice compact 9mm. I haven't had any problems with this firearm, no jamming. Just make sure you use the amount for compact only

Can't beat the price AND LIFETIME WARRANTY! However it's a very"snappy" intensive recoil and difficult to rack the slide, especially for women&older people

I purchased the Sccy cpx2 9mm almost 4 years ago. I had problems at first with failure to feed and sent in the 2 mags that come with the gun. Customer service was excellent though there life time pertenul warranty. I sent the 2 mags. Back to then and they paid shipping and handling. That wasn't the problem. Next time I called, they ask me some more questions. And sent me out a new barrel, slide and spring and guide rod. And again, they paid S & H. I put over 300 rounds of of different 115gr. Ammo through it with only 1 stove pipe. I filt so motivated and happy from the service I called them back and asked for the manager and told him how pleased I was that my Sccy was working right. Maybe it's been enough years that it doesn't have those problems anymore. I recommend if your OK with a all double action trigger, like a revolver. Then the CPX2 would be a good choice. If your looking for a striker fire trigger, then look some else. Even now I have other pistols. I will now sell my Sccy. Good luck Roger M.

This firearm comes with extra magazine out of the box and known for their excellent warranty if anything would go wrong with the firearm. Also this gun is awesome to shoot and I carry this gun almost everyday with a comfortable leather holster you can’t go wrong with SCCY.

nice pistol.....well balanced and you can hardly tell it has a double stack magazine. the grip is comfortable to hold and not really that much wider than a single stack slim model.....but BUDS needs to redo the description of the item. My SCCY 9mm does NOT have the thumb safety and while it is not really that big of a deal to me ....some people might be put off by this. however it does have a 9 pound trigger pull so the chance of accidental discharge is somewhat minimal if you have any experience with pistols at all. I kinda wanted the thumb safety but I CAN live without it. The SCCY seems to be well built and so far functions smoothly. Over all i would recommend this little pistol for anyone who wants a little more fire power than a 380 and does not want to carry a revolver!

Have sold dozens of the SSCY's, with no customer complaints or problems, for the price a very reliable self-defense gun, light to conceal carry.

Fast service from Buds. SCCY pistol feels decent quality but i could not get it to feed a single round. Called SCCY and they looked up my serial number and said that the pistol had been built in 2009 (it's now 2020). So apparently Buds got a stock of these from a distributer that had been sitting around. I had to pay $25 to send it in to SCCY and they replaced a ton of parts including the barrel, trigger assembly and magazines. The pistol seems to function properly now from a chambering and ejecting perspective. Have yet to take it to the range since the updates from the sounds of it they made some very functional updates to this pistol (all covered under warranty). Buds and SCCY services were top notch and i don't regret the low price i spent for this 9mm.

This is my second SCCY and the second one I’m happy with. To date I’ve gone through 200 rounds and I’ve experienced no problems with malfunctions. It disassembles very easily and maintenance is simple. It’s a heavy trigger, but it’s a DA only with no manual safety. I knew what to expect already, but even if I hadn’t I would’ve expected a trigger like that.
I carry this concealed in an IWB or belly band holster and it works well for that. Extremely light for a 9mm, which is part of why I chose it. I use the optional flat bottom magazine base that is included because it improves printing issues. The grip still has room for my pinky even without that extension on there. We the People Holsters makes a kydex custom holster for this model, so you don’t need to buy a generic.
It’s accurate at close quarters and I had satisfactory results in grouping out to 15 yds. I didn’t fire at any targets beyond that, so I can’t say what it’s accuracy would be past that range.
Overall, I’m pleased with the fun and love the price. It’s a true American owned and manufactured firearm which I like a lot. SCCY has chosen to do things like not building multiple production models and calibers to keep the price of manufacturing this pistol as low as they possibly can and not have to sacrifice quality in the process. I feel like they’ve succeeded at that.

I bought this SCCY CPX-2 for my wife as a mother's day gift. Another great experience dealing with Bud's as has happened before. We took the pistol the next day to try it out and did have some problems with the slide not locking back on just the one magazine. Also had a couple of stove pipe issues with both brass and steel case ammo firing off about 50 rounds. Had a chance to test SCCY's customer service and as I had seen before in other reviews that these issues were the fault of the magazines. They immediately sent out 2 replacement mags and we received them within the week and took the gun out again the following Sunday and fired off 40 rounds without a single hiccup. Great service from Bud's and SCCY!

I have owned the SCCY CPX2 for about 3 years now. Purchasing the firearm through Buds was a pleasant and simple process. The CPX2 has been nothing but reliable since the first time out at the range and now has about 1,000 rounds through it without a single malfunction. It's a great firearm if you're looking for something budget friendly. For the price, the CPX2 is fair quality. I will say the trigger pull is lengthy but I've grown accustomed to it. Overall it's a good value for the price.

I purchased this gun from Buds. Only problem-- and for me a major one-- is that I find the trigger pull horrendous.

My first pistol purchase and it's a treat to shoot at the range. Little if any recoil but if you have big hands, it may feel awkward trying not to put your whole index finger into the trigger housing. I went with the Taurus of my next purchase and will keep the SCCY oiled and ready for my daughter when it comes time for her to learn to shoot
