Kel-Tec Sub-2000 9mm Carbine 17+1 For Glock Mag Configuration
The question has been asked and answered that it does have a threaded barrel buy in the photo it does not appear to be threaded. So is the photo not of the actual rifle that is being offered?

Yes, it is threaded with a pitch of 1/2×28.

Hi William, the barrel is threaded, the photo may be a stock photo. You seem to be correct, I do not see a thread protector, but on other vendors' sites you can see a thread protector on the end of barrel.
