Sterling 7.62x39 Ammo 123gr FMJ 20rd box
Never heard of this brand. Is this ammo corrosive?

Hi Frederick and welcome to the Community. This ammo is Non Corrosive Sir thanks to its modern non hygroscopic primers. Muzzle Velocity (fps) is 2362fps & Muzzle Energy (ft lbs) is 1524lbs. Cheers and stay safe!

Fredrick, no, Sterling uses noncorrosive berdan primers. These have a steel case and bimetal jacket. Hope this helps.
