I received the pistol on Friday and have not yet fired it. It is extremely tight, in fact is hard to cycle the action and the safety is stiff and hard to place on and off. I am going to clean and oil the gun and see if it is any easier. I have read in other reviews about it being tight. I am retired military and have carried and used 1911s most of my adult life. every thing seems to work ok other than being tight and hard to cycle.

I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed this Tisas Service Enhanced 1911 A1. The fit and finish are right up there with the high priced .45's and at $399 it's half the price. Tisas has become my number choice of .45's and will soon be buying more different models. My wife loved it so much I ended up getting her one in order to keep mine. I had my local gunsmith change out the round hammer and install a ambidextrous safety, also installed custom grips. This gun functioned flawlessly at the range with a mixture of ammunition, accuracy was perfect right out of the box. Had a lot of people complimenting it and asking where I bought it. I told them Bud'sGuns.com and explained my personal changes. We have purchased 5 Guns from Bud's and have been extremely satisfied with everyone of them and Bud's service is the main reason we keep going back. Thank you Bud's for for your outstanding service and giving us hours of pleasure at the range.

surprised by the fit and finish of this gun, surpassed my expectations by a large margin, the gun hasn’t missed a beat in over 300 rounds. I have shot 2 1/2 to 3” groups off a sandbag at 25 yards and i think it could do better with a better shooter behind the gun. Very pleased with this purchase.
