  • Was told that the 22 longrifle firearms are exempt from the latest gun block in Washington State. Have a preformance center pistol from Smith and Wesson. Might as well have a preformance center 15-22 to go with the other 2 I already have, but are not preformance center built. Like the 18" barrel. Thanks.

  • Hi Robert, I would call a local WA FFL Dealer and ask directly for the most accurate answer. Cheers and stay safe!

  • Hi Robert, according to the S&W web site, this is WA compliant, but the WA restrictions page says otherwise - There are no exceptions for .22 caliber semi-automatic rimfire rifles which are included within the scope of the regulation.
A semi-auto rifle cannot have a pistol grip. See WA restrictions here budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/washington_restrictions.pdf ,
    .
I would check with the FFL who would be doing the transfer, as he would be up to date on the latest rules.
    .
Stay safe & have a great day!
