BudsGunShop.com - Is hammer resting on a round?

Does anyone know if the hammer could rest directly on a round? I know it sounds nuts but I saw a video on YouTube where another manufacturer has a derringer type gun on the market, and “if” the user is not careful to make sure the hammer is placed in the right “groove” spot it would rest directly on a round and easily go off if dropped. Thank you all.

Greg, no you cannot let the hammer rest on a Live round because as you said if dropped it could go off. As the Derringer in the video you saw it has safety grooves for the hammer to rest so it's not on a Live round. So pretty much the same setup as the Derringer you're talking about. Hope this helps and you're very welcome.
