Has anyone put sub sonics through this weapon? Would love to put a can on it. I have read some reviews it does not cycle lighter loads well.

Yeah, I had cycling issues using Subsonic rounds in my semi-auto Savage A22 rifle. Just not enough power to cycle next round.
Jason, the reviews are true Sir. Subsonic loads have a very low cycle rate. Cheers and stay safe!

Jason, unfortunately most semi automatic 22lrs don't handle subsonic rounds very well. This should work fine with standard velocity rounds and standard velocity and some high velocity rounds will actually remain subSonic in a 5.5 inch barrel. The velocities listed for 22lr ammo are usually tested in a 16-20 inch barrel, so velocities in a 5.5 inch barrel will be much lower. So with the exception of some hyper velocity rounds like cci stingers most of your standard to high velocity rounds will remain subSonic in this barrel. So I'd just buy a bunch of different ammo and see what works best. Hope this helps.
