Accurate and reliable, but seems to have a “catch” in the trigger. Hopefully Apex will have a trigger kit for it soon that will smooth it out. Thanks Bud’s!

I had been looking for a 10mm for some years now and was excited to get a first release of the M&P 2.0. It did not disappoint. The recoil was a concern, but having the same 1.0 model in .45, the recoil seemed lighter than the .45. I am not a big fan of external safeties on these plastic guns, but it is manageable. My only complaint, if it is one, is with the 2.0 trigger - it has a hitch, mid-point in the pull. Perhaps it will mitigate with use. We will see. After a thorough initial cleaning, I ran a box of reloads thru it without a hitch. Brass landed in the same general location 80% of the time. With all the industry hype of the 10mm being big on recoil, I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed shooting every last round. I chose the 4.6” barrel because it’s the same size as my 1.0 .45. Five stars to S&W for getting it right, right out of the box!
