Well, it just runs. I keep it in the side by side and it gets beat up but it runs.

I bought a Hi-Point, so I'm not going to be a gun snob and bash all the quirk's and functions that make it "The Working Man's Hand Cannon". What a fun gun to shoot! I spent more on ammo than the gun! Right out of the box, no cleaning, no oiling just 180 grain down range. It's a fun affordable gun and I can't wait to add some upgrades. As always, Bud's has the best prices and fast shipping!

Beside being stone ugly there was only two issues. the trigger is crap and digs into your finger, I filed the bottom edge and fine sanded, much better. The other issue is after cleaning very hard to reassemble. It does go bang every time you pull trigger, is semi accurate. For the price it will work.

The JXP10 is a beast of a pistol but controllable and fun to shoot. The first time out had one failure to feed on the third shot out of fifty rounds down range. Highly recommend.

Very customizable, added a laser, red dot and a set of grips all of which cost more than the platform.. Yes it's heavy, yes it's big, no.. you can't practically holster it, but it sure is fun and reliable to shoot!

This is a really fun gun to shoot. It came in really fast. I followed the manual and cleaned and lubed it right after I picked it up loaded up the one mag that came with it and another one that I had purchased from the Hi-point website. I didn't have time to shoot it for very long that day but I shot through the 2 mags I had just because I had to try it. Not one single malfunction. I hoped that was how it was going to be with when I got a chance to shoot again. It didn't disappoint. The only slight malfunction I had was it hesitated with one round to fully return to battery. I have now shot 4 boxes of 50 rounds of cartridges and 1 box of 20 of the Federal 200gr solid core flat nose and all except that one small hiccup cycled fine. I am so far very impressed. I was expecting that there would be problems of some sort because of the way people disparage Hi-point firearms but I had a .40 S&W Hi-point many years ago and it had a few malfunctions but it was fine for the most part. I am glad I gave this one a try.
